Why third-party support
for your SAP?

Vendor maintenance takes a percentage of your licenses every year, and its roadmap dictates when you upgrade. Third-party support is an alternative to that maintenance: it keeps your current versions secure and running, saves you on licenses and puts the upgrade decision back in your hands. It's what thousands of companies worldwide already do.

SAP — Extend the lifecycle of your systems at your pace
01

Extend the lifecycle

If your SAP ECC or SAP HANA work, you can stay on them for years — while you calmly evaluate migrating to S/4HANA, or simply because they serve you well. Third-party support keeps those versions secure and running for as long as your business needs.

02

Cut maintenance costs

Vendor maintenance takes a percentage of your license value every year, and it keeps rising. With third-party support you can cut that cost significantly and reinvest the budget where it adds value: in your project and your team, not in renewing software that already works.

SAP — Technology independence and control of your roadmap
03

Technology independence

You regain control of your roadmap. You decide whether to upgrade and when: stay on your version or migrate to S/4HANA, at your pace. Your software, your timeline, your decision.

Roadmap

You set the schedule.

SAP has published the end-of-maintenance dates for each version. Knowing them in advance lets you plan calmly and decide your next step, with no imposed deadlines.

2025

End of mainstream maintenance for SAP ECC 6.0 (EHP 0-5)

The oldest ECC 6.0 versions have already left standard maintenance, with no extended support option. From here on, independent support keeps them secure and running.

2027

End of mainstream maintenance for SAP Business Suite 7

Standard maintenance for Business Suite 7 and ECC 6.0 (EHP 6-8) ends. After that: extended maintenance at an additional cost, or an independent alternative.

2030

End of extended maintenance for SAP ECC

Paid extended maintenance ends too. If you haven't migrated to S/4HANA yet, independent support keeps these systems secure and in production for as long as you need them.

2040

SAP's commitment to S/4HANA through 2040

SAP has committed to keeping at least one S/4HANA release in maintenance through the end of 2040. It is not a deadline that pressures you: you have plenty of room to plan your evolution at your pace.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

Which SAP versions do you support?

We support all SAP versions, including SAP R/3 4.6, ECC 5.0 and 6.0, SAP Business Suite 7, SAP HANA 1.0 and 2.0, S/4HANA on-premise and SAP NetWeaver. Whatever the version: if you run it, we maintain it.

Do we lose access to security patches?

No. Our security team applies proactive hardening, virtual patching and real-time vulnerability monitoring — independently of the vendor's schedule.

How much can I really save?

Typical third-party support savings range from 30% to 50% of the vendor's annual fee. The exact figure depends on your environment. Request an assessment and we'll give you a concrete number.

Do you support SAP on IBM Power?

Yes, it's one of our specialties. On IBM Power9 and Power10 we maintain SAP ECC with AIX and SAP HANA with Linux (RHEL or SUSE) — covering everything from the firmware layer to the database.

What is the transition like?

We run a full audit, document your entire environment and switch on monitoring before the transition. The change is transparent to your teams.

Do you also support VMware?

Yes, we also offer third-party support for VMware, including environments where SAP runs on virtualized infrastructure. We cover it in detail on our independent VMware support page.
