Architecture and deployment
- Fundamentals of declarative automation.
- Differences with Chef, Puppet, SaltStack and Terraform.
- Deployment and upgrades of Ansible across environments.
- Initial setup: SSH, inventories and ansible.cfg.
Intensive workshop to automate and orchestrate Linux systems with Red Hat Ansible and AWX — from playbooks to deploying Ansible Automation Platform, on a dedicated lab with real use cases in cloud, network and CI/CD.
Red Hat Ansible automates deployment, updates and maintenance of UNIX and Linux systems with a declarative language — instead of complex scripts, plain configuration files where you declare what, how and where. No agents on the nodes, no heavy server-side infrastructure.
Unlike Chef or Puppet, Ansible is light, powerful and secure — and has become the de-facto standard in modern data centres. This workshop is designed for system administration teams who want to adopt Ansible + AWX/Automation Platform with judgement, not by trial and error.
This isn't a course to start with Linux. For profiles without that base, we recommend an intensive GNU/Linux administration course first.
ansible.cfg).From architecture and deployment to practical use, then AWX and Automation Platform, enterprise use cases, and closing with optional EX407 preparation. Syllabus and duration are adjustable to your environment.
Swipe to see all 5 blocksMaterials produced in-house, based on 12 years of deployments, migrations and training in Cloud, Linux and DevOps.
The instructor runs each concept live — playbooks executing, AWX projected on screen, real output on the fly.
Step-by-step workbook with instructions, complete playbooks and solutions — you take it home to review and use as reference.
Own environment for each attendee with AWX deployed — no shared cluster, everyone breaks and rebuilds at their own pace.

SIXE certificate of attendance and achievement, if you need it to justify the training internally.
If your team is adopting containers in production, we deliver training on Docker, Podman and Kubernetes with a dedicated lab — orchestration from the hypervisor to managed Kubernetes in the cloud.
If your team doesn't yet have solid UNIX/Linux experience, we recommend starting with our intensive GNU/Linux administration courses.
Tell us how many of you there are, which Linux distribution you run, and in which language. We come back with a concrete proposal — format, dates and instructor — not a boilerplate quote.
