Declarative automation
with no agents, no ceremony.

Red Hat Ansible automates deployment, updates and maintenance of UNIX and Linux systems with a declarative language — instead of complex scripts, plain configuration files where you declare what, how and where. No agents on the nodes, no heavy server-side infrastructure.

Unlike Chef or Puppet, Ansible is light, powerful and secure — and has become the de-facto standard in modern data centres. This workshop is designed for system administration teams who want to adopt Ansible + AWX/Automation Platform with judgement, not by trial and error.

A workshop for teams that already administer Linux

It's for your team if…

This isn't a course to start with Linux. For profiles without that base, we recommend an intensive GNU/Linux administration course first.

Frequently asked questions

Is this official Red Hat training?

No — it's an in-house SIXE course with materials produced in-house from our experience as consultants and trainers. We teach Ansible and AWX with real deployment judgement. If you specifically need the official Red Hat exam, it is contracted separately.

Does it prepare for the EX407 certification?

Yes, with an honest caveat: the workshop gives you the solid base and practical understanding to prepare the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation (EX407). The exam is a demanding practical test — you'll need additional practice after the course. Optional Block 5 reviews the points the EX407 typically evaluates.

What version of Ansible and AWX is used in the lab?

We work with the latest stable release of Ansible and AWX/Ansible Automation Platform available at the time of the training. If your environment is on a previous version, we adapt the lab so what is practised matches what you will find in production.

What background do I need?

Reasonable experience in UNIX or Linux at administration level and familiarity with SSH and the command line. This isn't a course to start with Linux — for that, we recommend one of our intensive GNU/Linux administration courses first.

Can it be delivered remotely? Is the duration adjustable?

Yes. We deliver on-site or remote, in Spanish, English and French, with a dedicated lab per attendee accessible over the network. Content and duration can be modified at the customer's request — for instance, extending CI/CD and network, or compressing the fundamentals if the team already has them.

How many attendees can join, and at what price?

The workshop is delivered in-company, with pricing per group depending on size, format and language. Tell us your case — number of attendees, location, dates — and we come back with a concrete proposal.
