Container fundamentals
- Introduction to container technology: Linux Containers, Docker and containerd.
- Creating custom images with Docker.
- Managing storage and networking in Docker.
Intensive three-day workshop to master container administration on Linux — from the fundamentals (Linux Containers, Docker, containerd) through to orchestration with Podman and Kubernetes. Hands-on work on a real cluster and preparation for the CKA certification.
Three days of intensive workshop, independent of the orchestration solution you use. We review Docker Enterprise, AKS, GKE, Amazon ECS and Red Hat OpenShift, but the focus is on the concepts, use cases and tools they share — and we finish by deploying an environment based on the latest stable Kubernetes release.
A hands-on course built from our experience as trainers and consultants in Cloud, Linux and DevOps. You leave with a solid base to apply DevOps best practices and to start preparing the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) exam with additional practice.
From the fundamentals of containers to Podman, from the Kubernetes cluster to advanced deployments, and — as a closer — Kubernetes in the cloud. Two final optional blocks cover monitoring, security, maintenance and CKA preparation for those who want to extend the workshop.
Swipe to see all 7 blocksMaterials produced in-house, kept current from our experience as trainers and consultants in Cloud, Linux and DevOps.
The instructor runs each concept live on the projected cluster, so you see theory turn into actual kubectl commands.
Step-by-step workbook with instructions, commands and solutions — you take it home to review and use as reference.
A dedicated lab environment for each attendee — no shared cluster, everyone breaks and rebuilds at their own pace.
Our own engineers with 15 years of experience in deployments, migrations and training across Cloud, Linux and DevOps.
SIXE certificate of attendance and achievement, if you need it to justify the training internally.
If your team needs to go straight to the enterprise PaaS on Kubernetes, we deliver dedicated training on Red Hat OpenShift 4.18 with our own labs and production-oriented content.
If your team doesn't yet have solid UNIX/Linux experience, we recommend starting with our intensive GNU/Linux administration courses.
Tell us how many of you there are, which Linux distribution you run, and in which language. We come back with a concrete proposal — format, dates and instructors — not a boilerplate quote.
