What we do with Red Hat in your organisation

We don't sell licences and walk away. We design, deploy, tune and maintain. These are the areas where we work with RHEL every day.

RHEL deployment and configuration Installation on IBM Power (ppc64le) or x86/KVM. Initial hardening, network configuration, LVM, Satellite registration, load testing. We deliver a production-ready server.
High availability with PaceMaker HA clusters with PaceMaker, DRBD, GFS2, GPFS or Ceph. Automatic failover, fencing, split-brain prevention. For SAP HANA, databases and critical services.
Automation with Ansible Ansible Automation Platform / AWX for deployments, configuration and maintenance. Versioned, reproducible, auditable playbooks. Integration with Satellite and Foreman.
Containers and OpenShift From Podman and Buildah to full OpenShift Container Platform. On IBM Power or x86. Migration from Docker, VMware, or greenfield deployment.
Repository management with Satellite Red Hat Satellite or Foreman/Katello (free community version). Centralised patch management, content views, lifecycle environments. Coordinate hundreds of RHEL servers.
Ongoing 24×7 or 8×5 support When something breaks at 3 AM, you call the person who built your platform. No tickets, no escalations. Annual upgrades, health reports and security reviews included.

Frequently asked questions about
Red Hat and SIXE

What is Red Hat Enterprise Linux and what is it used for?
RHEL is the most widely used enterprise Linux distribution in the world. It provides a stable, secure operating system with long-term support (10+ years per version) for servers, cloud and containers. It is the foundation of critical environments in banking, healthcare, manufacturing and public sector. Current versions are RHEL 9 and RHEL 10.
Is SIXE an official Red Hat partner?
SIXE is an IBM Business Partner. Red Hat has been an IBM company since 2019. We have been working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, Ansible and Satellite in production environments for over 15 years. We offer up to 40% discount on licences and subscriptions through IBM.
Do you support RHEL on IBM Power (ppc64le)?
Can I use the free version of RHEL in production?
Yes. Red Hat offers free Developer licences for up to 16 production servers. For larger environments, subscriptions include access to updates, certifications and official support. SIXE helps you evaluate which subscription model suits you and whether a community alternative like Rocky Linux or Alma Linux can cover part of your estate.
What is the difference between RHEL and Rocky Linux / Alma Linux?
Rocky Linux and Alma Linux are binary clones of RHEL — same packages, same compatibility. The difference is support: RHEL includes commercial support from Red Hat, third-party certifications (SAP, Oracle, VMware) and access to Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform with official support. For many non-critical production environments, Rocky or Alma are a viable option. SIXE supports all three distributions.
