Do you deliver the courses remotely?

Yes. Courses 100% remote available across EMEA and Americas — also on-site. We are an IBM Silver Partner, training is official and certificates are issued by SIXE.

Do I need previous Informix experience?

For Database Administration (SIFMX223G), DBA experience on another relational database is enough. System Administration (SIFMX819G) assumes you're comfortable with day-to-day Informix administration. Informix 15 (SXIFX15A) requires administrator level before going into migration and cloud.

Which Informix version is used in the course?

The System Admin covers v15 and v14.10. The Database Admin is delivered on 14.10. The advanced course focuses on Informix 15 and migration from previous versions. We adapt the lab to the version you run in production.

We are on Informix 12.10 — which course fits us?

Informix 12.10 loses support in April 2026. The most direct path is Informix 15 (SXIFX15A), focused on migration from 12.10/14.10 and modernisation to Kubernetes, InformixHQ and watsonx.data.

Can you deploy or migrate Informix for us?

Yes. As an IBM Silver Partner we offer licence sales, deployment, migration and Informix production support — beyond training. Post-training support also available for technical queries after the course. Tell us your case and we come back with a proposal.
