Module 1 — Fundamentals and environment setup
Introduction to IBM API Connect V10 architecture and core components. Review of the development and runtime environments. Configuration of catalogues and provider/consumer organisations.
Lab: Configure catalogues and consumer organisations in API Manager.
Module 2 — Creating REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs
Defining APIs in API Manager using the OpenAPI specification. Creating REST APIs from target services, APIs that invoke existing SOAP services, and building a GraphQL API from scratch.

Module 3 — Message processing policies and security
Assembling message processing policies to transform and validate requests. Declaring client authorisation requirements. Creating an OAuth 2.0 provider to secure API access.

Module 4 — Advanced testing and debugging
Using the integrated Test tab to test and debug APIs. Introduction to the Local Test Environment for isolated testing without publishing. GraphQL-specific testing techniques.

Module 5 — Publishing, lifecycle, and analytics
Defining products and plans in API Manager. Complete lifecycle flow: stage → publish → version → migrate → deprecate → retire. Subscribing to and testing APIs from the Developer Portal. Analysing dashboards and usage visualisations. Customising the Developer Portal appearance.
