What sets us apart

Why do companies with IBM Power trust SIXE?

Dedicated engineers who know your infrastructure inside out.

Licence optimisation that pays for itself

We audit your IBM, Red Hat, SUSE and HCL licence estate. For 80% of our clients, licence savings exceed the total cost of our support service. Not a claim — just arithmetic. View licence audit.

SWMA alternative with more service and lower cost

We cover 95% of IBM and HCL software products as a SWMA alternative. Includes audit, firmware, patches and technical support with a direct point of contact.

A dedicated engineer who picks up the phone

No "your ticket has been logged". Your team gets an engineer with a name and direct phone number, available 24×7 for critical incidents. Emergency support for what cannot wait.

One point of contact for your entire stack

Servers, storage, databases, virtualisation, containers and cybersecurity. No need for a different provider per layer. We cover from AIX y FlashSystem through to QRadar y Kubernetes.

How it works

We start with an audit, not a quote

First we understand what you have. Then we tell you what you need — and how much you can save.

Initial infrastructure audit

We review servers, storage, licences and current contracts. We deliver a report with real savings opportunities and your current risks.

Tailored proposal

We design an annual contract covering what you actually need: servers, storage, backup, virtualisation, containers. Special terms for 3 and 5 year commitments.

Up and running in days, not months

We assign a dedicated engineer, set up remote access and begin with pending firmware, HMC and patch updates. Technical training included for your team.

Ongoing support + continuous improvement

Monitoring, performance optimisation, annual updates and 24×7 availability for critical incidents. Support in Spanish, English and French.

FAQ

Questions we get asked before signing

Yes. SIXE covers 95% of IBM and HCL software products as a SWMA alternative, including licence audit, firmware and direct technical support. You don't lose coverage — you improve it.

IBM ended standard maintenance for certain Power9 models in January 2026. SIXE provides extended support — firmware, patches, optimisation and L2/L3. We also advise on when to migrate to Power11 at your own pace.

Yes. We've migrated Oracle environments from Solaris and HP-UX to AIX sobre Power, including mission-critical applications. Prior compatibility analysis and minimal downtime execution.

IBM i (formerly AS/400 and iSeries) is very much alive. It's an integrated platform with OS, DB2 and application server, ideal for transactional environments. We provide full support and include RPG/ILE developer training if your team needs it.

No. We operate across Europe, Africa and the Americas in Spanish, English and French. Fully remote with on-site access if needed. Find us at sixe.eu y sixe.be.

It depends on your infrastructure. We start with an audit to evaluate what you have, which licences you're overpaying and what real risks exist. From there we deliver a fixed proposal.
