Configure your Rocky Linux licences

Choose the edition, how many systems you run and the CIQ support level. We send you a proposal with the subscriptions and our part of the work: setup, migration and support in your language.

Which edition do you need?

You can pick more than one: they all start from the same Rocky Linux.

Who should we send the proposal to?

Check your platform and send us the request. We will reply with the proposal.

How a subscription is counted

CIQ subscriptions are per system per year. We ask for physical servers, virtual machines and cloud instances separately because they are not always counted the same way, and the proposal tells you how each one works out.

If you are not sure which edition fits, see RLC Pro, RLC Pro Hardened and Rocky Linux for AI.

Good to know before ordering
UnitPer system per year.
RLC Pro AIPer server, not per GPU: adding cards does not change the subscription.
Mixing editionsYou can run RLC Pro on some servers and Hardened or AI on others.
CIQ supportStandard or Premium, depending on how critical each environment is. RLC Pro can also go without it.
Architecturesx86_64 and ARM. On IBM Power we stay with Red Hat, SUSE or Ubuntu.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there no prices here?

CIQ publishes list prices per node per year, and they are the starting point. The final figure changes with volume, multi-year contracts and the work we do, such as a migration or the rollout. From what you tick in the configurator, we send you a complete proposal.

What is the difference between Standard, Premium and no CIQ support?

Both are CIQ support tiers and both require RLC Pro. Standard covers your business hours, 8:00 to 18:00 in your time zone, with a first response to an urgent issue within one hour. Premium covers 24 hours a day, every day, with a first response to an urgent issue within 30 minutes. The full response times are on CIQ's support page. Without CIQ support you still get RLC Pro, with its LTS releases, FIPS and patches, but not CIQ's support service. It is only available for RLC Pro, not for Hardened or AI, and you can cover it with our support.

Can I order just the licences, without services?

Yes. Leave only the subscription management option ticked and we will handle the CIQ subscriptions. If you later need a migration or support from us, it is added without changing supplier.

Do virtual machines count the same as physical servers?

CIQ subscriptions are per system per year, but physical servers, virtual machines and cloud instances are not always counted the same way. That is why the configurator asks for them separately, and the proposal tells you how each one is counted.

What if I am still on CentOS 7?

Tick CIQ Bridge. It keeps CentOS 7 security patches coming until 2028 while you move the servers to Rocky Linux. More on CentOS 7 extended support.

Prefer to talk it through?

You can also email or call us and we will go through it together.
