First serious contact with QRadar SIEM: from installed to operated.

This is the first of the official IBM QRadar SIEM Fundamentals courses, updated on version 7.6. It is designed for security analysts starting with the platform and for teams who have just been given QRadar and need a solid base to operate it.

You leave the course understanding the on-prem and cloud architecture, comfortable with the new UI, able to onboard log sources and flows, and with the judgement to work with offences, AQL searches and reports. It is the gateway to the official IBM QRadar SIEM certifications.

Do I need previous experience with QRadar?

No. Fundamentals is the gateway to the itinerary. It is designed for security analysts without previous experience with the platform. Basic knowledge of networks, logs and what a SOC does helps.

Which version of QRadar is the course taught on?

On IBM QRadar SIEM 7.6, the current stable release. The materials are updated with each relevant release.

Is this official IBM training?

Yes. We are an IBM Business Partner for security training and this course is the official BQ205G — IBM QRadar SIEM Fundamentals, with official IBM materials and course codes.

What do I leave with?
