For the desk that compiles, crunches numbers or opens large files

The Ryzen 7 9700X is an 8-core, 16-thread desktop processor that boosts to 5.5 GHz, and with 32 GB it has room for development work, large spreadsheets, light CAD or a couple of test virtual machines. The case measures 92 × 341 × 290 mm and fits under the monitor or on a shelf, and at the back it has HDMI 2.1 and two USB4 ports that also carry DisplayPort 2.0, so it drives several screens from the processor's integrated graphics.

Windows 11 Pro lets you join it to an Active Directory domain or to Entra ID and manage it with group policies, and that is the main reason to choose it over the two EPYC models. Memory has no upgrade path, because the datasheet sets 32 GB as the maximum for its two slots.

What we do

Compared with a branded office PC, what changes is who looks after it: we prepare it with your corporate image, join it to the domain and keep it up to date ourselves, with an on-site technician if you contract one.

Questions about the AS-C521D-11302U

Can I add a graphics card?

It has no PCIe slots, only two M.2 slots for NVMe drives, and the power supply is 300 W. If the desk needs a dedicated GPU, the machine to look at is the SYS-C542i-11302U, a tower ready for an RTX 5070, 5080 or 5090.

Can I add more storage?

Yes. There is a second M.2 NVMe slot and, inside the case, a bay for a 3.5-inch SATA drive and another for a 2.5-inch one, which on this model are handy for storing projects or local backups without touching the system drive.

What networking does it have?

One 5 GbE port, the same as all three mini towers. Against a NAS and a 5 or 10 GbE switch, multi-gigabyte projects open straight from the network without downloading them first; with a 1 GbE switch it will run at 1 GbE.
