Lenovo ThinkSystem servers

The Lenovo servers we install, grouped by what you'll do with them: AI with NVIDIA GPUs, virtualisation and databases, scientific computing with water cooling, and systems for remote sites. We help you choose, get the server running in your data centre and support it.

Before you ask for a price

Where do I start?

If you're going to serve an AI model, first check how much GPU memory it needs; if you're going to virtualise or run a database, how many cores and how many drives. That gives you the family, and we pin down the exact model with you.

And the price?

We don't publish list prices because they depend on the processors, memory, GPUs, network and warranty. We send you a quote with a confirmed lead time for the configuration that fits. If you want to get ahead, the server configurator asks for just what we need in a few minutes.

Why buy it from us

The server arrives installed and tested with your workload, and if it ever fails, you call the same team that put it into service.

We start from what will run on it: which AI model, how many virtual machines, which database or which scientific applications. That gives us the family, the model and the configuration, and if something smaller will do, we'll tell you.

We rack it, configure XClarity and the firmware, and install the operating system and whatever runs on top, tested with your workload before it goes into production.

In our server configurator you choose the use, processor, memory, drives and GPUs in a few minutes, and we call you back with a proposal within 24 hours.

When something breaks you talk to the engineers who commissioned that machine, and if you need it there's 24×7 on-call cover with a contractual SLA. It's the same independent support we provide for IBM Power, Linux and Ceph estates.

We're an IBM Business Partner and partners of Red Hat, SUSE, Canonical and CIQ. With CIQ we install Rocky Linux for AI, with the NVIDIA driver and CUDA already validated, on the same servers.

We work in all three languages, support included, so if your company has teams in several countries they deal with the same group of engineers.

Frequently asked questions

Which Lenovo server do I need?

It depends on what will run on it. For AI, the GPU server family; for virtualisation and databases, the SR630 V4 or the SR650 V4; for simulation and scientific computing, the HPC family; and for shops, factories or base stations, the ThinkEdge SE455 V3. If you're unsure, tell us the workload and we'll recommend one.

How much does a Lenovo server cost?

It depends on the configuration: a 1U server for virtualisation and an eight-GPU HGX are worlds apart. We send you a quote with a confirmed lead time as soon as we know what has to run on it.

Do you also sell tower servers?

Yes. For an office with no server room we also install ThinkSystem towers; tell us what has to run on it and we'll suggest the model.

Which operating systems do you install?

Proxmox, VMware ESXi, RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES, Rocky Linux or Windows Server, with the network, storage and whatever runs on top already configured.

Do you offer Lenovo training?

Yes: we have a Lenovo ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile infrastructure course for the team that will run the servers.

Do you also work with Supermicro?

Yes, you'll find their range on our Supermicro servers page. If you're torn between the two brands for the same project, we'll prepare both options.

Which Lenovo server do you need?

Tell us what will run on it, for how many users and what data centre you have, and we'll come back with the configuration, the price and a confirmed lead time.
