Lenovo Flex Chassis Technical Workshop
The objective of this course, LNFX01, is to train system administrators to gain in-depth knowledge of the Lenovo Flex System and all its integrated components.
Through an eminently practical approach, you will learn how to manage the chassis control module, internal and external network switches (TOR) or fiber connections (SAN).
During the course, you will work with IBM storage systems such as Flash Systems and you will practice the deployment of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Finally, the use of xClarity controller, a unified tool for the control, administration and automated maintenance of the entire Lenovo server-based infrastructure, will be covered in depth.
Lenovo Flex System is the new generation of servers based on blade technology.
They offer more performance and bandwidth.
They also offer much more consolidation and virtualization capabilities than previous systems.
Audience
System administrators, architects and pre-sales engineers with no experience in Lenovo x86 environments (former IBM Blade Center / xSeries).

Locations
This course is taught on a regular basis in Madrid.
It can also be given privately at our clients’ facilities with 5 or more students enrolled anywhere in the world.
Course length
The course is usually delivered as a 5-day workshop.
All sessions have a theoretical part covering the first hours of the morning, followed by a practical part.
At the end of the course there are a few hours of open lab time for testing and troubleshooting thanks to our powerful and complete demo environment. The contents and duration of the course can be modified at the request of our customers.
