Advanced AIX management and performance tuning
This intensive 3-day course is designed to provide professionals with the necessary skills to install, configure and manage an AIX system on LPARs (Logical Partitions) in enterprise environments using VIOS (Virtual I/O Server) on IBM Power systems.
During the course, participants will have the opportunity to work in labs that simulate a real production environment, allowing them to gain practical and relevant experience that they will be able to apply in their daily work.

- AIX components, features and operation: Learn about the fundamental elements of AIX and how they work in an enterprise environment.
- SMIT: Learn how to use the system interface management tool to effectively manage and configure AIX.
- Storage management and LVM: Master storage management through Logical Volume Manager, essential for efficient disk management on AIX.
- Advanced disk recovery and replacement procedures: Develop advanced skills to manage disk recovery and replacement on critical systems.
- Network configuration (BSD and System V mode), etherchannel and NIB: Gain knowledge of network configuration on AIX, including the creation of EtherChannels and Network Interface Backup (NIB).
- System monitoring: Learn how to monitor system performance and status to ensure proper system operation.
- Performance Analysis (CPU, Disk, Network and Memory): Develop capabilities to analyze and optimize the performance of hardware and network resources in AIX.
