Red Hat Ansible Course Syllabus

Red Hat Ansible is a technology that allows automating the tasks of deployment, upgrade and maintenance of UNIX and Linux systems through a declarative language, where instead of complex scripts we use simple configuration files where we explain what we want, how and where. Unlike other orchestration systems such as Chef or Puppet, Ansible does not require the installation of agents or complex server-side infrastructures. It is an advanced, powerful, lightweight and secure tool that has become a kind of “standard” technology in modern data centers. After many months of development we offer this training designed to meet the needs of system administration teams that wish to adopt this solution.

Module 1 – Architecture and Deployment of the Product

🎯 Introduction to Ansible: Fundamentals of declarative automation
⚖️ Differences from other orchestrators: Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, and Terraform
🚀 Deployment and updating Ansible in different environments
⚙️ Initial configuration: SSH, inventories, and ansible.cfg

Module 2 – Practical Use of Ansible

📋 Basic use of playbooks: YAML, tasks, modules, and handlers
🔧 Managing variables: host_vars, group_vars, and facts
🎮 Task control: conditionals, loops, and error handling
🔍 Monitoring and debugging: Troubleshooting and logs

Audience

Systems administrators, architects and pre-sale engineers with extensive UNIX or Linux experience. For new administrators we recommend taking one of our intensive GNU/Linux management courses first.
