Hands-on Foreman (Red Hat Satellite) administration course with Katello and Ansible
This training is aimed at Linux system administrators with experience in Red Hat and Ubuntu as well as UNIX administrators (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX). During it will launch its own Foreman deployment and several of its most important plugins such as Katello and the Red Hat Ansible connector. We will do it in a simple way through an eminently practical workshop created from our experience as Sysops and DevOps trainers and consultants.
Foreman is the foundation of Red Hat Satellite. It is a technology that automates the tasks of deployment, updating and maintenance of physical and virtual systems in any organization. It allows to generate detailed inventories of the resources available in the data centers, control the migration between software versions and monitor in a preventive way the whole of our infrastructure. After many months of development we offer this training designed to meet the needs of system administration teams that wish to adopt this solution in its open source format, without the need to purchase Red Hat licenses.
Audience
Systems administrators, architects and pre-sale engineers with extensive UNIX or Linux experience. For new administrators we recommend taking one of our intensive GNU/Linux management courses first.
