IBM FileNet P8 Platform Administration 5.5.x course (F2810G)

4.375,00€

Official 5-day IBM training for FileNet P8 Platform 5.5.x administrators. You will learn how to deploy repositories, model metadata, configure security and auditing, work with sweeps and migrate assets between environments. The reference course for those running FileNet in production.

SKU: 264. Category: FileNet
  • Description

Description

For over 15 years we have been delivering official IBM training to enterprises, public administrations and IT professionals across Europe and Latin America. If you need to administer and configure an IBM FileNet P8 Platform 5.5.x system, this official course gives you the practical knowledge to deploy content repositories, manage metadata, configure security, auditing, content-based searches and migrate assets between environments. Training delivered by our own engineers, specialists in enterprise content management (ECM).

Course details

IBM code: F2810GCategory / Subcategory: IBM FileNet / FileNet P8 v5.5.x
Delivery: Online and classroomDuration: 5 days
Version: IBM FileNet P8 Platform 5.5.xDigital badge: Yes, after completing the Instructor-Led version

Course description

This course teaches you how to configure and administer an IBM FileNet P8 Platform 5.5.x system. You will learn the key concepts of the platform’s architecture and how to organise content across the entire enterprise. You will learn to build content repositories, configure metadata, create storage areas, manage security, logging and auditing, run bulk processing, use the sweep framework, extend functionality through events and subscriptions, migrate and deploy FileNet P8 assets between environments, and configure content-based retrieval (CBR) searches.

Target audience

Administrators and users responsible for the planning, administration and configuration of an IBM FileNet P8 Platform system.

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with enterprise content management (ECM) concepts.

Recognition and digital badge

When you complete the Instructor-Led version of this course, you will be eligible to earn an IBM training digital badge that you can display on your website, business cards, LinkedIn and other social profiles to certify the skills you have acquired in administering IBM FileNet P8 Platform 5.5.x.

Instructors

The vast majority of our IBM courses are delivered directly by our own engineers, not by external trainers. It is the only way we know to guarantee real training quality. We complement every course with our own materials and labs, based on the experience we have gathered through real FileNet P8 deployments, migrations and projects over the past 15 years.

Added value

Our courses are deeply role-oriented. The level of technology mastery required by a development team is not the same as that needed by people in charge of deploying and operating the infrastructure. That is why, beyond commands and tasks, we focus on solving the day-to-day problems of each team, providing the knowledge, competencies and skills required for each project. Our documentation is always kept up to date to the latest product version.
