Frequently asked questions
Why is there more than one part 2?
Because the same ground is offered with more or less depth and practice: CV843G, CV842G are the other lengths. The units are the same; what changes is how much time goes to the exercises and how much of the newer release is covered.
Is two days enough for this?
It is if you already administer. The course trims the explanatory part and goes to the tasks: a BIND that fails, an ALTER that leaves the object in a pending state, a partition that has to be rotated.
Which release is it taught on?
Yours. Db2 13 for z/OS is the current release with no announced end-of-support date; Db2 12 left standard support on 31 December 2025 and only keeps extended support until 31 December 2028. Tell us which one you run when booking and we fit the labs to it.
How is it organised and what does it cost?
