Target Audience
This basic course is intended for anyone who needs to write, manage or understand SQL queries.
Intended participants include, but are not limited to, end users, programmers, application designers, database administrators and system administrators who do not yet have experience with SQL Data Manipulation Language (DML).
This course is operating system independent, you can use DB2 or Informix on z/OS, Windows, AIX or Linux.
Desired prerequisites:
To get the most out of this workshop, it is recommended that participants have:
- Basic computer skills: Familiarity with the use of operating systems and common applications.
- Basic editing skills: Ability to handle text editors.
- No previous database skills are required: This course is designed for those new to SQL and IBM DB2 or Informix.
